I didn't do embryo donor but I did egg and am currently feeding my little boy. Never ever thought it would happen, we did donor eggs in the UK 4 times before moving to donor eggs abroad. It worked first time when abroad. Keep the faith, it's the way it worked for us, just not giving up. Good luck xxx

Hi TeddyBear, we moved to donor eggs due to my very low number of eggs, and lack of response on the one own cycle we tried. With donor we ended up with four decent day 5 embryos (transferred one and froze three) - the first transfer did take but I sadly miscarried at 6 weeks, on the second one (taken from the freezer) I’m now 9 weeks pregnant with everything looking perfect on the ultrasound scans. Fingers crossed everything continues ok, and goes well for you too xx

We didn’t do donor embryo but we did double donor egg and sperm. On our 2nd cycle of doing double donor it worked first time. During the end of 1st cycle of double donor I did the ERA and the transfer was not being done at the suggestive time and also needed 2 lots of antibiotics for an infection. So don’t know what the magic ingredient of it working. I had 2 embryos transferred, 1 implanted and split so we are expecting identical twins.

Hi TeddyBear5,

We used donor eggs due to low egg reserve and complete failure to get any follicles with my OE cycle.

We did 3 transfers. The first two were single day 5 embryo transfers and were unfortunately BFN. Both cycles had issues though - I think the just was a huge family crisis which just made me uber stressed out. The second was an allergy to the progesterone. The third transfer we had a double embryo transfer and both stuck. I now have two beautiful 1yearv old non identical twin girls and I couldn’t be happier. I love every thing about them, especially their DNA because I wouldn’t want them any other way- it’s the best thing I’ve ever done!

It’s such a hard journey - how are you feeling about the idea of donor embryo?

Awww that’s so awesome! ❤️ I really struggled at the beginning with accepting my loss of genetics. But I am so grateful to my donor - she’s given me the best gift!

I had 2 embryos transferred from egg donor and succeeded in my first cycle. I would say it’s a blessings to fall pregnant following my medical history. It was quite of a surprise for me and my husband as we tried our luck. Both were born at 31 weeks and just turned 5 months on 11th September (3 months corrected age). Good luck hun xxxx

I am waiting for one more test result as one came up with an error (gene test) and one bit of paperwork.

I’m hoping to be good to go next cycle in about 3-4 weeks 🤞🤞🤞🤞
