Post egg insemination wait

Hi all,I'm on my first round of IVF, I just had my egg insemination yesterday and in that 2 weeks waiting period.

To begin with I was very concerned about how my body is going to deal with injections but that was much easier than I thought but this part is actually feeling me with a lot of anxiety. Does anyone have any magical way to cope with this part? 😀

The 2 ww is awful, below are my tips foe surviving it

1. Stay away from Google as it will just send you down a rabbit hole of anxiety.

2. Don't symptom spot or compare there are no actual symptoms that can show if it's worked or not so doing this can drive you crazy.

3. Do not test early, there is a reason your clinic have given you an OTD as anything before this is inaccurate and can just cause unnecessary upset.

4. Try to find things to occupy your mind like binge watching something, reading your favourite book or try a new hobby basically anything that you have to focus or concentrate on.

5. Plan nice treats for yourself you deserve to be spoilt for making it this far.

6. Plan something nice to do with your partner after the 2ww like a day trip or holiday so whatever the outcome you will still have something to look forward too.

There is no magical method to cope. Remember you are pregnant until proven otherwise
