down regulation with mild adeno ? Confused 😐

I need some advice as I’m so confused & feeling so lost

So far !!

3 transfers with down regulation- no success ( 5 embryos lost )

New clinic 1 transfers without it & new protocol following era results & finally the right amount of progesterone & we had a chemical 😞

our clinic are not concerned with my adenomyosis & want me to transfer again . After nearly 5 years of deivf my gut is telling me to speak up & stand up for myself with this one … we don’t want to waste our time money & mostly our precious embryos !

Any advice or experience welcome

Much love & thanks 🤍

Hi Ladycoco. Just hoping the ERA results will aid timing of transfer, so you need less down regulation. Good luck. Diane

Hey lovely I hope you are doing okay! sounds like perhaps the conditions and timing were right and the embryo just wasn’t the right one on that last cycle? 🤞🏽I normally (after all the heartache) look at chemicals being a postive in that we were halfway there! hopefully the next one will work… If it’s fresh cycle you could test the embryos perhaps too? Xx

So sorry to hear about your chemical, I hope you are OK and being kind to yourself.

Regarding adenomyosis, if the clinic are not worried it probably means it is mild. That's what I have and only had a month down reg on a donor transfer.

It could just be that embryo, but if you really feel like you want a down reg, ask for it and push for answers. You are paying a lot of money for a service and are entitled to ask questions and have a say in your treatment. You want to know you have done everything you could.

Best of luck with your next transfer. I really hope it is the one. ☺️

hi I have endo and adenomyosis. Had been trying for about 6/7 years before i got a diagnosis was told I was low ovarian reserve and early menopause. Had 3 rounds which were unsuccessful. My marriage then broke down and I had a year alone and when I met my current partner we started looking into it all together and I was finally sent for mri and diagnosed with adenomyosis. I had zoladex for about 6 months prior to my next IVF cycles and did long protocol and used buseriline to down reg straight after zoladex. after having transfers at day 5 which unfortunately were both unsuccessful. I did however then conceive naturally a couple of months after my last egg collection, the cycle I was going to try with a separate transfer ie a few months after eggs collection. To allow things to settle after stims. My son is now 16 months old. I then conceived again naturally when he was 6 months old and have an 8 week baby girl. Both pregnancy’s were a little tricky due to the adenomyosis drs believe, but it is possible and can happen. I was always told I had a 1% chance given the hostile womb environment from adenomyosis and my low AMH which was 3. I had paid for a multi cycle 3 rounds and was looking into surrogacy. Miracles can happen both of mine are proof. I truly hope you get your miracle. If you want to ask me anything or I can be of help please ask Xx
