9dp5dt line more faint than day8

I got my first faint but very visible positive line 7days post 5day transfer. Yesterday, day 8, it was also faint (first test was clear blue, second was first respond). That being said, I couldn’t really judge the same pink line. Today, day 9, I used another first response and my line has definitely faded. I have my beta in a few hours but I can’t even get myself out of bed to go. I can’t fight the nagging feeling that I’m out of the race today. Any success stories or kind words?

lines can vary so much in the very early days and really you can’t use hpt as an indication of how a pregnancy is progressing. The time of the test, how much you drank the night before, making sure you did exactly the same thing with each test to ensure the same conditions; so much can alter those lines. Bloods are the only way to know for sure and clearly something has happened as there are definitely lines there. Fingers crossed your bloods will give you some good news and you can repeat on Wednesday to see how the levels are rising. Best of luck.

Don't forget - the first line will have dried too so probably will look stronger.

HCG doubles every 48 hours so in theory the day 8 / 9 tests would be roughly the same.
