Hi, hope everyone is Ok..

Thought I’d write a bit of on update on my journey…I’ve had my third transfer this afternoon, our last embryo from our first IVF cycle…so hoping this one sticks..

I have got some time off work thankfully so will relax and keep my mind busy and ride out this TWW! .

I’m actually planning to reupholster a single sofa this time round so will let you all know how that goes :D

Wishing you all who are on this difficult journey with lots of luck xxxx

thank you :)

Good luck 🤞 may I ask if you know the reason why the other 2 failed? Did the embryos implant ? Thanks

Hey, I just read your post and sorry to hear it’s not worked.. our cycle sounds very similar as we too had 3 good grade blastocyst. On my first fresh transfer we were so positive as everything had gone smoothly but I bled early before test day and blood test also confirmed it to be a negative.

I’ve had follow up consultations with my gynaecologist and he didn’t really have an answer to why it had not worked or why it didn’t implant, I don’t think they really do. (It just feels like it’s down to luck). He did say that I’ve not had multiple failed transfer yet ( 3 +) so difficult to say what further test can be done. For our frozen cycles we did choose to go with the short protocol only because it’s less intensive. If this one doesn’t work then going forward we will do a endo scratch. Me and my partner are in our early 30’s with unexplained infertility, so will keep trying as long as we possibly can.

You and your partner should have a follow up consultation, and hopefully any questions you do have your doctor will be best to answer/advise.

I do wish you both all the best, and do take care of yourselves x

Similar to you I am having my last embryo from our batch transferred in the next few weeks so I’m a bag of nerves this time.
