I have spent quite a few years receiving amazing support from this forum. I would read the birth announcement and feel a tiny bit of hope that some day, that will be me. Even though it felt like a million miles away, I’m so overwhelmed to announce that I have made it to the other side.
My perfect pregnancy turned to a nightmare at 38 weeks when I went to hospital due to severe swelling of my entire body. They then discovered I had preeclampsia and I got very poorly very quickly. My waters were broken, and then I was in high dependency waiting for my body to do its thing. 12 hours later and I had not dilated any further so I was rushed for an emergency C section. My baby was born at 10.47 on 15th April weighing 7lb12.
She is now 9 weeks old and I feel like the luckiest person in the world.
It happens ladies! The hard work pays off. The pain is replaced with joy and your jigsaw is complete.

God, she is beautiful! Congratulations, MomaJoni. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia too but at 31 weeks and our babies stayed in the NICU for 5 weeks. Hope you are recovering well. Best of luck to motherhood. ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing this and I’m so happy to hear of your beautiful girls safe arrival (albeit a very stressful one!). I lost my IVF baby at 17 weeks in March (after an already long and painful journey) and I’m about to start a FET so you have given me hope 🥰🥰
oh I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s a pain that no one can prepare you for but your little angel will protect your future babies, I promise you. My Leo definitely watched over Darla xx

Congratulations!! She's adorable!! It's so nice to hear a positive story, I definitely needed this, so thank you so much for posting. I'm sorry to hear of the complications you had at the end but very glad to hear you seem to be feeling much better now. And what a lovely little sweetheart you have looking back at you now too!!
