Slow growth at 7 weeks

Hi everyone, Thanks so much to everyone who left me such kind messages on my last post. I was discharged from the hospital after a week, ohss still very much there but fluid is gone from my lungs now which is making it a bit easier to manage.

My consultant gave me an early pregnancy scan last Friday, he wasn't happy with what he saw and referred me to the early pregnancy unit to be assessed. I went in on Tuesday where on the scan they picked up a baby and a heartbeat, but the growth is a week behind. I'm back in next Tuesday for a second measurement scan where they've said they really need to see a weeks growth. Has anyone any positive stories? I know it can go either way but I'm clinging to every bit of hope that I can.

Xx

Hi there, the early scans are notoriously difficult to measure as everything is so small at that stage. There’s definitely still hope. I have read lots of posts with good outcomes in this situation. There are always posts with not so good outcomes too but I will be hoping for the best for you.xx

Thanks so much for reply. You're totally right, they're so hard to measure that small, I'll keep up the hope for a good outcome xx
