NHS IVF Referral

Hi, I was just wondering if there is anyone on here in the North Yorkshire area that has been referred for IVF. We was referred back in January and to cut a long story short still waiting for an appointment. Has anyone else been through this and do they know roughly how long they had to wait? It’s killing me! Thank you Xx

Hi there. We are in West Yorkshire. It took just short of a year. We got referred in April 2022, and got seen by a fertility specialist March this year. Hopefully you won't have to wait as long as we had to!

Hi Sammy. Where in NY are you? We were refered to York but they only have a clinic every 2 weeks run by a specialist from Leeds. Once they contacted us we were able to go to the Leeds clinic for appointments and it moved a lot faster. We waited around 4 months initially but was 2019. Hi Sammy. Oh dear! You need to keep contacting your clinic and tell them you are willing to accept a cancellation. Fingers crossed that helps. Diane
