Hi All,
Looking for some advice on travelling with meds that require refrigeration?
Any suggestions on a brand of cooler bag/ box?
Any tried and tested brands?
Thanks a mill

I travelled to Ibiza last year with my medication… I just used a regular, small insulated lunch box (think it was from John Lewis) with a couple of ice blocks… it seemed to work okay but our journey wasn’t too long.
Have a good trip!
You can buy little cool bag pouches designed for carrying diabetes medication.
Yeah any cooler bag that can fit the quantity you need plus the ice-packs. I ordered from amazon mini icepacks for lunch boxes. They needed to be under 100ml because I was travelling by plane. I found that they melted relatively soon, but the clinic reassured me that it was OK.
If size isn't an issue maybe bigger ice packs will last longer?
*If you are travelling by plane you will need a letter by the clinic. Most airport security staff are OK , they just read the letter and glance at the meds but I had one who opened and touched everything, the card- boxes and even took the syringes out to compare them with the letter and said I needed to put them in clear bags etc out of the cooler bag to get them through security. I was furious.
Hi Sam oxo. Plenty of good tips from the girls follow. Happy travels. Diane
