Hi

I am

In the two week wait at the moment probably the worst two weeks ever so far

I am 7 days in after transfer and I am wondering if I am getting a urine infection

I can’t stop needing the toilet , I have been getting cramps and fuzzy feelings in my tummy and during the night I keep running to the toilet

Has any body had this before ?

I am drinking loads now to try and flush it out before it gets worse

I was wondering if it could be the cyclogest pesseries that have made me a little irritated ? Or could this be a good sign x

thanks xx hope everyone is all doing ok xxxx

Stressful time during the 2WW and you get very aware of your body Some discomfort may be due to your meds If still concerned about urine infection see GP about handing in a sample Just try to rest when you can -eat well and drink plenty of fluids Take any meds you have been given as directed

Hope it settles down and good luck for your OTD

Hi peanut, try not to worry unless you have pain while weeing etc?? All those things you mentioned I got after every transfer including my last one and I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant. 🙏🙏 💕💕

When is your test day?

hi ya thank you , no I have no pain while I urinate ! Just keep wanting to go but I am now making sure I am drinking a lot to flush it through but feels strange as it’s niggling in my bladder

My test day is the sat 13 th I wanna test now but the clinic always recommends that we wait due to getting a correct test as to early could be a chemical. Xx

Congratulations on your pregnancy’s xx pleased for you. Xx did you have any other symptoms during this time

My cramping comes and goes x it was worse at day 4 and 5 x

Take care xxx

Thanks peanut - I started getting up in the night to wee more for sure. Cramps that would come and go across the whole time (and up through week 7 tbh). They were the main two.

I understand the issue with chemicals, all my transfers resulted in positive tests but this is my only ongoing pregnancy out of 5 positive tests initially. I had two chemicals and so I definitely started to not do early testing. I preferred to think about how I could be pregnant and enjoy the bubble for as long as possible. But my OTD was earlier. Normally my clinics asked for one on 9dpt and 11dpt (to test progression) and my last clinic did only a blood test on 14dpt. After prior tests at 9dpt there was no earthly chance I could wait until 14 so I did test at 9dpt and then again at 11 and 14. But I always knew chemical was possible.

I'm crossing everything for you!! ✨✨✨

evening

Hope you are well

Thank you for the reply

Congratulations again for your success x

I think we all have different experiences and no symptom is good or bad just it what our body decides

I popped to collect medication today and asked the nurse if uti are possible from the ivf ? Response was it may of started separately but she does not believe that the ivf caused it ! She also said weeing is not a sign that she knows off

But yourself and research says increased urination can happen as your hormones increase x

I think it’s just luck xxx

It’s just a waiting and time game x but it definitely messes with your mind alot xx

Definitely!! It's like either something is bad news or good news. There's nothing really to be done other than get through the days as best you can 💕💕

Wishing you the best of luck peanut61 🍀✨🤞. You’re a week down so hang in there. 💪 I feel like we’re so highly attuned to our bodies at this point it can get crazy. I think some of your feelings are defo on the good to feel list but, as you say, it’s hard to work out what the meds are up to. My final OTD is tomoz so I know where you’re at. Look after yourself x
