Hi! My hcg level went from 19 on Friday to 64 today but I have brownish redish blood that's not heavy but a tiny bit on pad, I go back for another blood test on Wednesday, they said it could be a possible ectopic pregnancy which has scared me xx

Hello I sure hope it's not an ectopic. Good thing you have the scheduled appointment soon. That will give you clearer answers. Hopefully what you have is probably implantation bleeding. Good luck on your examination!

Try not to panic Lovely - doesn't sound as though there is a particular reason they mentioned ectopic, and the HCG is rising, even if not by leaps and bounds. Sometimes embryos just take a bit longer to implant and get going! Hopefully your next test shows a nice big jump 🤞 Try not to worry too much about bleeding at this stage, it's very common in IVF pregnancies I think xx

Hi there, bless you such a worry. I had this same experience. I had my viability scan at 6 weeks pregnant and saw the babies heartbeat, which was such a relief.

Are you taking any meds?? They couldn’t detect why I was bleeding, but said it could have been either irritation from the pesseries or the Clexane. There are lots of ladies who have posted something similar, so hopefully nothing too serious for you. Take care and I hope all is ok xxx

Thank you Natasha I really appreciate it, I'm using crinone gel applicators which is progesterone gel, it could be maybe losing one of my embryo's or maybe not, it's heavy but not as heavy as my period would normally be but I have mild period pain xx

So sad, but hopefully that’s all it is. I hadn’t considered that myself, I had three embryos transferred, but only one baby and had dark brown discharge as well as larger red clots. Such a tough journey. Keep us posted on how you are xxx

It really feels like we are on the same journey.

My numbers went 20, 33, 68.7.

They decided they aren’t worried and will scan me in a couple of weeks.

I had ectopic last time and you normally have some pain to go with it, plus numbers don’t rise they just sort of stay the same and yours are doubling so its definitely cause to stay positive.

Fingers crossed for tomorrows results for you.

Thank you so much, I feel a lot better now, that's definitely reassuring, yeah my level went from 19 to 64 and we will find out tomorrow if it's still doubling, the bleeding is not as heavy as normal period but definitely have period pain with it, I'm wondering if it could be from the crinone gel-progesterone gel, I wish you all the best and hope your little one develops healthily for you xx

Funny enough I feel like the progesterone does irritate and I’ve read a lot that they can cause it too.

Well they are not testing me now so I’m in another 2ww until they scan me. It’s really hard to be honest as you already know. They told me that by the time the scan comes that bloods should be strong but they aren’t checking. It’s so hard to stay positive but we must!

Hi! It's looking really bad for me because I did a pregnancy test this morning and the line is a fair bit fainter so I'm pretty sure my hcg levels have dropped, I wish you all the best with yours😢xx

so sorry to hear this, your story sounds like what I went through late March (biochemical pregnancy). I remember feeling very grateful that it wasn’t ectopic. Look after yourself and wishing you a better outcome next time xx

Also because of my low levels they are concerned that it could be ectopic pregnancy which I really hope is not the case, when do you go for your scan? How many weeks pregnant are you? I'm 5 weeks and 2 days xx

My levels have gone from 19 to 64 to 103 and yesterday they were 153 but they tried to do a early scan and they can't see any pregnancy anywhere which apparently is because my levels are really low but apparently my endometrium is quite thin so I'm really nervous, how are you feeling? Any pregnancy symptoms? I have mild nausea occasionally increased smell, frequent urination and feel like crying when watching movies or hearing sad stories, I hope you have a positive outcome also xx

Keep positive as my clinic said sometimes they can start slow!

That’s sounding a lot like me. Movies are making me cry lol. Similar symptoms with one craving for ramen. I’m type 2 diabetic so I have had to start testing my blood which isn’t fun as it looks like gestational diabetes is happening so may need insulin.

I’m 6 weeks + 1 day and my scan is next week at the 7 week mark. Honestly the waiting isn’t easy but I keep distracting myself with it will be worth it.

Hi! How are you going? I had a blood test today and it's not looking good, my hcg levels on Friday went from 153 to 272 today which only went up by 46%, they told me it's not good and it's on the really low side, I go back on Friday for another blood test and scan, I'm feeling absolutely stressed and depressed at the moment, I hope your doing ok xx

It really is a stressful process anyway but with this on top you must be pulling your hair out. I guess because they aren’t testing me in between like they are for you I just have to stay calm and hopeful but it is hard. I don’t know what’s happening at all.

They have to be realistic with you but remember this……..

Everyone is different, everyone carries different and the whole time those numbers are rising your still in the game. They have all said until numbers are 1000 you don’t show on a scan. Don’t check out until you have to. Baby feel’s everything.

We both have our scans friday let’s send positive vibes and energy inside for our babies. I’m thinking of you and hopefully we both win. Xx

Hi! Thank you so much, I'm feeling a bit more positive now, I hope both of our scans show us good news but I'm pretty sure my scan is being done to soon with the lower levels, it's really hard for the both of us, I had really low hcg levels at the beginning of my pregnancy with my son 20 years ago and that resulted having my precious almost 20 year old son, I'm sending you lots of hugs and baby dust and sticky thoughts xx

I can get to sleep but I wake up and then can’t get back to sleep for hours. Best advice is to listen to your body and nap if you need to, we’ll if your able xx
