Update to previous post

So I’m on 17dp 5dt and I have still not started my period. I had a negative test result on Monday. Been to hospital today and she did a blood test and a scan. She said she was mainly looking for evidence of an ectopic pregnancy. I’m so confused as we weren’t told about this happening and I was just thinking no period positive result 😔.

Im sorry to hear that you are going through this stressful time. It is good however that they are checking you over. Are you still taking meds as these potentially can stem off your period even with a negative result? Hopefully you'll get your bloods back soon and will know either way what is happening. Hugs.xx

Hi LMGC,

Sorry you’re feeling stuck in limbo, it’s never nice. Are you still taking progesterone? As Cinderella said, that can hold off your period. On my unsuccessful cycles, I didn’t get my period until I stopped the meds unfortunately x
