hey - just got my period again 11 days after I started the last one. It’s not the first time in the last 2 years that I’ve had a really short period like this but it’s definitely the shortest - and I thought there was nothing y around this data that could have set it off -8 don’t have covid, haven’t had surgery, haven’t had a covid vax in a year and a half and no flu this year either, and it’s several months past my ivf. Because this has been happening for a while I am wonder if i am perimenopauseal? I am soon to be 38 …

anyone been tested for perimenopause?
just to add, because the scales used by my consultant vary from what’s used online I had never done the AMH calculations, but now that I have, looks like my AMH of 12 is lower than the low range value here for my age: my.clevelandclinic.org/heal... (1.5 where mine is 0.9)
I am quite concerned no-one has really picked up on and made me aware they were low - I got told it was okay after the test was done.
hey I have this worry frequently. When I was at the clinic I asked about this the other day and do at most appointments. The doctor told me if it was 3 months in a row of no ovulation, all significant changes to period. I think it’s also high FSH. I’m nearly 37 and my AMH is much lower than yours so im always really worried. When this has happened before I’ve always spoken to clinic or GP about it and they reassured me if that would help you. Also even if you were peri menopausal can still do IVF xxx
thanks for this - yeah I think I’m okay on ivf can still work even tho lower chances with low AMH or with peri, but I guess it does mean I’m far less likely to spontaneously conceive naturally. My fertility clinic are useless as they say if I am having periods I’m ovulating well that’s a load of crap cos you can have an anovulatory period - but no-one has ever checked to see if I’m ovulating. GP said progesterone was a. Bit low to be sure I was ovulating, consultant says you have regular periods so you are.
