OTD: urine test BFN - but a few ‘clutching at straws’ questions

Not the result I was hoping to share.

This morning I woke at 4-5am as predicted but forgot to pee in a cup. So I tested my urine when I next woke up at 6am - I’m assuming this would still be considered ‘first urine of the day?’ (Especially since I didn’t have any water in between) or could this still not be considered first urine of the day? Also, is 9dp5dt early for a urine test is my other question.

I guess I’m clutching at straws now.

In any case, I still have my blood test so will go do that (even though I feel like there is no point anymore).

How can a little stick cause me so much sadness! But I rather know first to soften the blow before the nurse delivers the news to me this afternoon.

im so sorry to hear this and hope it turns around and u get a different results when u do ur bloodwork. Ukkk i have no words that would make u feel better but im sending u hugs.. its such a tuff journey

I’m so sorry 😢 the bloodwork will confirm but I would expect to see something even from 2nd pee of the day at that point on a FRER xx

so sorry you didn’t get the results you were hoping for. By day 9 I think you should be seeing something. For me it was on day 9 that I started to prepare myself for a BFN but was still hopeful that it could change. I wish it turns around for you when you do bloods.
