waiting game for PGS results

hi everyone We are waiting on our PGS results from our clinic. Although a whole week has gone by today I’m still quite anxious and worried about the results.

Is there anyone else waiting for their results? How did you get through this anxious time?

Hi Poop

Well done for getting by the first week of the wait. It's a difficult time waiting for the PGTA results and I understand your worry as I've been there myself. I would just suggest all the things that you're probably already doing. Find some nice things to do to fill your days, meet a friend, go out in nature, find a great book or box set to watch, anything to take you away from focusing on the waiting period.

How many are you PGTA testing, I think if I remember right you did a series of egg collections first for batching?

Wishing you all the luck xx

hi thanks for you reply

How are you doing?

I’ve done 3 batching cycles but only ever get a few eggs. I’ve had 15 eggs over all 3 cycles in total and 5 blastocysts to test.

I’ll book in for a massage this weekend and am going out ( for the 1st time in a year!) for drinks! X

How are you? Where are you at now with your ivf journey? Thanks for sharing xxx

That sounds amazing that you're going for a massage at the weekend and also some drinks. Enjoy it to the fullest!I'm not sure of your age but I have to say that 5 blastocysts is amazing and I think you have a really good chance of a good outcome here. Obviously we always hope for 100% to come back normal so I guess one further piece of advice I can pass on is to manage your expectations as best you can. I think for me at my age (in the 35-37 category) it is expected 50% to be "normal" for example.

I'm down a rabbit warren right now doing additional testing related to immunes and it is very complex and rather stressful (as everything is on this path)

Xx

is this the era Alice testing and nk cell one? I have had nk cell but need to have the others Post results. I know it’s hard but hopefully this gives you some next step or advice of what the clinic can do next to support a pregnancy 🙏🏻❤️.

Thanks for sharing your experiences- I’m 38 we’ve been on the whole ivf journey since I was 36/37. Defo got more blastocysts back then though. And more eggs. X

Sorry for late reply.Yes, I had the ERA EMMA and ALICE tests and also the immune testing for NK cells. A couple of things were flagged up so now I am trying to get these addressed.

Did you have your PGTA results back yet?
