Normally, my clinic say no to transferring 2 embryos if they have passed the PGS, however, I had 1 transferred which resulted in my daughter, but when we transferred the 2nd one I miscarried. PGS doesn’t guarantee a live birth & I am only doing one more transfer process.
I’d rather test, but I also would like 2 embies transferred…
any experience or thoughts?

My first FET with a single PGS tested embryo ended in a chemical pregnancy. My second FET, again with a single PGS tested embryo ended with a negative result. By this point we had done so many tests and nothing explained why both times it hadn’t worked so for the third FET I insisted to have a double transfer of PGS tested embryos to increase chances. This was against the policy of my clinic, so the decision had to go to their medical commission. I also had to speak with a second consultant to explain my rationale. They eventually allowed me to have a double transfer with PGS tested embryo and one of them implanted and is now 28 weeks 💕. You might want to check the policy if your clinic in advance xx
thanks. We have had 4 cycles & used PGS each time & im sure on the consent forms you can’t select 2 PGS embryos. The consultant has told us this previously but at our scan on Wed, the nurse said it has been done before…. Like you, I just want to increase the chances.
Congratulations on your pregnancy. Enjoy every minute of it. xx
I've done a double PGTa tested, was against policy and some were shocked I'd been allowed. But I was. They still didn't implant. It seems I have an implantation issue rather than an issue with the embryos. So I felt like I had wasted an embryo. Next time I want to transfer two still as long as I get lots of embryos again! If I don't get many I may just go for one! It's always so confusing and I never know what's best (nobody seems to!)
I know. 1 minute I’m swaying on the ‘let’s just put in as many as we have & are allowed’… next I’m saying ‘let’s test’.. but realistically, this is my last transfer, I’m nearly 42. I want to transfer all that I can & leave nothing in the clinic so that I’m not always wondering ‘what if’…
what grades are they? You might have more luck in getting the clinic to agree if they are lower grades? I had a double transfer but of untested embryos and I was told clinic policy was no doubles for PGTA embryos or for untested embryos both Aa grade - so I picked my 2 lowest grades and then they both stuck 😂
Transferred 1 PGS normal embryo and ended in my 3rd chemical. Transferred my last 2 PGS normal embryos 5BB and 5BC and we have now 15 months old twins 😍🥰. Transferring 2 pgs normal embryos you have higher changes of having twins, if this doesn't scare you (just like me) than go ahead 😍.
