Morning everyone. I’m prob panicking over nothing, however my husband just opened what he thought was the ovaleap pen box ready for tomorrow, but instead he opened the pre-filled Ovitrelle trigger shot box and the pen fell out on our hard kitchen floor 😖 I’m guessing there’s a glass vial inside? My anxiety is already through the roof and now I’m worried about this. Does anyone know if they’re pretty sturdy? And has anyone dropped one before? 🥲 x

hello they are pretty sturdy I dropped mine getting it out the box in the kitchen … the floor is Lino on cement xxx don’t be worrying. You need to be relaxed and stress free xxx
Hey, Elsidee11, after much anxiety I started stim (menopur and gonal-f) injections. I've been checking temp of fridge and I was in knots just before. I had the needle ready but just couldn't insert. I called my sister over (whose been though this before), I didn't even feel the needle. Think it might be a matter of getting used to the anxiety and everything will be fine. No idea if IVF is going to work and just hoping we're in the 5% success rate.
Best of luck and sending you baby dust
I think it's probably OK. From what I remember Ovitrelle trigger is not the most expensive of these medications, so you could replace it if you have to.
yeah I dropped mine on the hard kitchen tiles last round just before I took it and it made a massive crack sound! But it was totally fine! You also have loads of time (I didn’t it was a Saturday night and trigger time that I did it 🤣🤣🙈) so you could take to your clinic at your scan appointment to check and they can replace if needed 🤗 no need to stress at all lovely xx
that’s exactly what hubby did, I heard it hit the floor from the living room and was like ‘what was that’ - ‘umm the pen’ 🙀 I’m going to ask them tomorrow when I phone about my nightmare period I’m currently having 😆 wish things were more straightforward. Having a relaxing Sunday though, so hopefully will help! Thank you for your reassurance xX
