TRIGGERING FOR SOME

Hello, I am 3 months postpartum after a ivf baby I have had my first period but im 2 weeks 3 days late I have never got pregnant naturally but I took I clear blue digital test and it had a little arrow with a book next to it (apparently means error) . i was curious what was inside and there it was 3 lines.. I don't know if I'm being stupid but what does this actually mean!

It means nothing I am afraid. It will always show 2 lines 😁 I checked myself 🤣 ...while on crazy IVF journey

Well that saves me from buying another test then haha thank you.. I was a crazy tester myself but never open one that was a negitive only a positive xx

I'd still get another test to try if I were you. They always have 3 lines but the darker they are shows if there is hcg or not. I drove myself crazy with these tests so read a lot about them. Don't mean to give false hope or anything but I personally would double check xx

Thank you for your reply,my partner bought two tests for me after he finished work yesterday and turns out I'm 6 weeks pregnant.. Im absolutely gob smacked and this was unexpected after going through over 10 years of infertility and 4 rounds of ivf and somehow I get pregnant naturally it is a miracle xx

That's amazing, congratulations! Miracles do happen. Also gives me a glimmer of hope for a sibling. It took us 6 rounds for our little miracle and we won't have more IVF but I'd love a 2nd. xx

I'm sorry you had to go through 6 rounds of ivf but it's all worth it for the little ones we have! How old is your little one? I have heard many stories of women becoming naturally pregnant after ivf but I never in a million years thought it would happen to me.. I was the exact same I didn't want to ever go through ivf again so I was only expecting to have one child xxx

She's just turned 2. She was absolutely worth it, she's so precious. It does make me sad she will be an only child but then I snap out of it and think, we never thought it would work so actually we are so lucky. We lost 3 before her too so the was definately our last shot! Hope all goes well with the pregnancy 🤗 xx

Well you never know st1984 I never thought I would ever be able to get pregnant naturally miricles do happen it might happen to you.. But I totally get what you mean I used to want 3 children but just having my little girl made me so greatful after such a long journey trying for her xx

Congrats!!! This exact thing happened to my best friend. She struggled with infertility for 10 plus years. Got one baby from IVF, then failed FET, and then out of nowhere she got pregnant naturally with a sibling. A doctor once told me that it happens quite often when the first pregnancy triggers something in your body and it's easier the second time around.

I would definitely test again. It could just be your body getting back to normal. However, I had my first baby after IVF then fell pregnant naturally after 7 months, but it didn’t continue. I then fell pregnant again the following month and now blessed with two gorgeous little boys. I think you are more fertile after having a baby so if you’re period is late, it is possible. I never expected that I would get pregnant naturally but happened two months in a row when we started ‘trying’. Hope you get the result you want 🥰🥰🥰 xxx

I took two more tests and it turns out I'm 6 weeks pregnant I was more then grateful with just one baby after years and years of infertility.. Its crazy how things work out xxx

I know I felt overwhelmingly happy and blessed and terrified (and then guilty for feeling anything but absolute joy) at the same time having a second baby so quickly, especially after all the turmoil that comes with infertility.
