hi all! does anyone have experience in private fertility clinic in London (preferably) vs private NHS. What are the differences (apart for the price), and how much does it cost for you? I understand prices range from GBP 4000 to GBP 8000? I am currently doing IVF with Wolfson fertility clinic (NHS, Imperial hospital, London) and pay the minimum for private . I speak to doctors on zoom (which is ok) and if I need to speak to an embryologist I can do it over the phone. The attitude generally is "try more, increase your statistics", which is correct but I was wondering if private fertility clinics do more than that? For example they can help to improve quality of eggs/sperm - I prescribed vitamins to myself pregnacare, q10, folic acid etc , but maybe a professional can help better, does it worth to go private? and if you have any recommendations for private fertility clinics in London and doctors, it would be great if you could share. thank you

Hi I did two IVF rounds at wolfson one private and one on nhs. I did not feel any difference between the two rounds and after the two rounds failed and one with miscarriage, I am also exploring new clinics in London and very interested in the response. I have noticed Wolfson is very cheap in comparison to others. The problem in Wolfson I do not have any contact with doctors and every step was systematic. When a change happens, they never communicate with patient and nurses would tell me doctor will call you and would never get the call. Was a very stressful experience. I had first appointment with IVF London which is North West but as I said very expensive and I am not sure what to do. Interested in sharing your experience.
