foreign prescription

hi , we finally hope to start our 3thrd cycle of ivf , this time abroad. We have a different approach for this cycle . My doctor is looking to give green on next month to start ivf meds just if I will have 6 follicles on day 2 of my cycle . I will do the scans in U.K. and hopefully get the prescription of meds via email . My question is : how do I buy those meds ? Are U.K. pharmacies give foreign prescription? Where can I order online or go in the U.K. ?

Hi! The clinic I used abroad gave me a list of UK based pharmacists who can transfer the script to UK legality and dispense the meds. There’s also an online fertility meds specialist you can order from (do a quick Google). Ive read Asda does affordable fertility meds. I was also able to get meds sent from the country my clinic is based but bear in mind I had to pay duty to (Brexit)

Ask your clinic rep what they’ve recommended to their clients in the first instance. Good luck!

Some clinics abroad do work pharmacies in the UK. So best to ask the clinic. I think Stork do.

Hiya Fertility2u, stork or asda will all take foreign prescriptions. Not sure whats cheaper but you can phone or email and get quotes xx

Thank you , I will call those pharmacies and check with them how will can do , have not yet my prescription, my doctor will send via email in January, depending on how many follicles I will have on day 2 of the cycle ( will do the scan in here ) .
