Hand foot and mouth before transfer

My LB has been diagnosed with hand foot and mouth today and I've now started with a sore throat and thinking the worst. I've had EC today and all going well should be having a tenasfer on 14 December. If I do get the spots I assume my transfer will need to be cancelled and they'd do a freeze all. Is this right?

I would check with the clinic. Probably if you have a fever they would cancel but not if you don’t. However, the incubation period can be long (2 weeks) so it might be a risk you’d come down with it after transfer. Xx

Hi Sw. Oh dear that's a shame. Check with your clinic as they may still proceed with the transfer. Should you have to freeze all, try not to despair as your little embryos will be quite safe until you are ready for transfer. Honey and lemon for throat and paracetamol should you need it. No anti inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Get better quick. Diane
