8 days post 5 day embryo transfer

Hi. I am testing negative 8 days after a 5 day embryo transfer. Is there still hope? Has anyone got a positive test after this?

Hi Lovely. Most people seem to have a line of sorts (even if faint) by now , but not everyone! They set the OTD for a reason and there are always cases where the embryo seems to implant later and people have blank tests almost until (and even right until) OTD, then bam 😍 It isn't the norm, it has to be stressed, but it does happen. I don't want to give false hope as that can be worse but truthfully there's nothing to be done except keep up your meds and hang in there until test day. Thinking of you xx

I’d say it depends on the sensitivity of your pregnancy test. For example a First Response would’ve shown a line by now, others may take longer for a positive to appear xx

Try to wait for OTD - hard to do but it is for the best Keep busy - read a book - watch boxset on TV Rest when you can -eat well and drink plenty of fluids. Take any medication as directed
