thank you very very much to everyone who gave me hope on my previous meltdown post! the embryologist phoned this morning to say one of our embryos made it to day 5 🙌🏼 and ended up being a really good grading despite the earlier day 3 worries.
Nothing for the freezer this time BUT when we got there, gowned up ready to start the transfer the consultant said the other embryo that wasn’t good enough to be frozen was still going (4CC) and if we wanted to we could put that back in too or gamble and keep it another day longer in case it could be frozen but they said highly unlikely….We both agreed quickly and they popped that in too in the hope of boosting our chances a little 🤞🏽
Hoping for a Christmas miracle! Good luck to everyone transferring and thank you for all the support over the past 48 hours to keep my sanity …. Let the next 10 days of waiting begin 🤪 xx

🤣🤣 yeah same I never feel any different physically just emotionally it’s a bit of a rollercoaster and then I forget it’s even happened most of the time lol xx
I have been watching for your post!! Fantastic news!! So thrilled for you!! Now crossing my fingers for your 2ww! xx
That is just amazing news and that you had a wee boost of an extra on board too 👏🏼 delighted for you. My wee 4AA is my boy so feeling positive for you. Have a stress free, relaxing 2ww and will be sending all the positive vibes your way 🥰🤞🏼xx
Welcome to the 2ww, I’m 2 days post transfer (first time I’ve got to transfer stage) so feeling excited and extremely nervous. When is your test date? Mines 16th and I’m going to try to hold out until then xx
Ah that’s amazing! Fingers and toes crossed for you 🤗💜 yeah I’m the 16th as well but I’m not even going to lie to myself I will be lucky if I last until the 13th before testing 😜🤣 xx
oh no 😢 hope he’s okay and you don’t get it. Im sure it will be fine though I’ve googled the hell out of that before and there’s no evidence to say illness effects the 2WW outcome is what I found xx 🤗
That’s reassuring to know, I was Googling last night and found someone who tested positive a few days after transfer and still got her BFP with twins so fingers crossed.
Thankfully my son has no symptoms at all, I only got him to test because his dads partner tested and he’s been there at the weekend x
aww fingers crossed you don’t get it but yeah it doesn’t look like it affects it if it’s going to implant it will now is what I’ve been told 🤞🏽 time does start ti tick slowly though as the days go on now doesn’t it 🙊 xx
oh my goodness time really does go so slowly! The first 2 days weren’t too bad but now next Friday test date seems like so far away.
I’ve convinced myself it’s not worked as I don’t ‘feel’ pregnant, I don’t feel any different. I have some symptoms that are medication side effects but I just don’t get the feeling it’s worked.
When is your test date? Are you going to test early? xx
nah no different it’s a bit too early to feel anything really I use this wee timeframe thing to help me stay calm and realise the HCG wouldn’t even be being produced yet never mind me having any related symptoms if it’s any help to you? Day 1 is day after transfer Xx
Day 1: The blastocyst begins to hatch out of its shell.
Day 2: The blastocyst continues to hatch out of its shell and begins to attach itself to the uterus
.Day 3: The blastocyst attaches deeper into the uterine lining, beginning implantation.
Day 4: Implantation continues.
Day 5: Implantation is complete. Cells that eventually become the placenta and fetus have begun to develop.
Day 6: Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), the hormone that signals a developing pregnancy, starts to enter the blood stream.
Days 7 and 8: Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted.
Day 9: Levels of hCG are now high enough in maternal blood to detect a pregnancy using a blood test.
hey lovely 😊 yeah I’m thinking Tuesday my trigger shot will be well and truly out my system and should get an indication on it by then…. I’m at the ‘convinced it’s not worked’ stage so just hoping for the best and preparing for the worst really…got my fingers crossed for you too though 🤗🤞🏽hope you are doing okay? Xx
