has anyone had their usual endometriosis symptoms but still been pregnant? I’m 1 day before test day and I’ve had a bit of cramping and it’s referred round to my back end, but also my usual shoulder pain. I’ve read endo can get worse in early pregnancy. Am I just clinging onto hope and there’s no hope? Is there anything about early pregnancy or meds that could be causing inflammation of endo?

Endo pain - is it just my period comíng?
hi. I just wanted to give you some reassurance. I have stage 4 endo and I also have endo on my bowels, I think we become so aware of our symptoms when we are due on a period that this ivf situation scares us when these similar pains appear. I have a 21 month old son who was convinced via FET. I did have endo pains from transfer up until about 4 months pregnant. I was convinced I was going to miss carry. I even had a full on period bleed at 8 weeks. But he’s running around the lounge not a care in the world. So the answer is yes you can still be pregnant and have endo pains. Try and stay positive and I wish you all the best for test day. I am due to have my second FET on Friday so I’m just gearing up for that as my last FET after my son failed.
Crossing fingers and toes for you xxx
Hi ForABabyPanda. Yes, your endometriosis can be aggravated from pessary use and medications used, so please don't assume it's all over, when it could be down to medication. Good luck! Diane
unfortunately Diane it does look like it’s the end of the road this time around, bleeding heavily and negative test on test day. I’ll confirmatory test tomorrow but I know in my heart it’s over. But good to know for future re endo symptoms!
I’m so sorry to see this news, I had everything crossed for you. I hope you have taken some time for yourself to reflect and take it in. You got this, just one step in front of the other and you will go again. Lots of love x
