Testing 7dp5dt

Hello everyone,

So this evening I did the most stupidest thing and tested 7dp5dt, OTD is 29th, it was a BFN. Any hope that this could turn positive…surely if it’s going to work it would be positive by now even just a faint line? This is our 6th transfer after 6 full cycles and one frozen transfer…have had one chemical and two MMC so this is our last shot and it’s a bfn…end of the journey for us I’m afraid

Hi Red1985, don’t beat yourself up - we’ve all done it. It’s just too early for a test to give you a definitive answer, that’s all. My understanding is that there’s not enough HcG hormone to be detectable you a pregnancy test yet. Keeping everything crossed for you x x

Its way too early to get a result - as GraceFace says there's not enough hcg yet so whatever your result is its not a true result.

I know waiting is the hardest thing - im on 10dp5dt but I've learnt over my cycles its just not worth the heartache - Ive done it too

Throw away that result, try and forget about it and hold on to OTD. Good luck!

Hi there! I think we're in the same boat I'm 8DP5DT today. My beta is on Friday (28th). I tested this morning on a cheapie and it was stark white. I didn't tell my husband however Im trying to prepare him that it's probably negative on Friday. I've searched the web and I haven't seen a single success story with negative at 8DP, so I'm trying to mentally brace. This sucks so bad...

Hello, oh goodness this is a very shitty journey! The torture we go through to just look at a blank stick is horrible! You only did a cheapie test tho and they are not very sensitive at all so defo don’t give up just yet! But I do agree you need to mentally brace yourself…I have done tests every morning and they haven’t changed and finally told my husband this morning…it’s his birthday on the weekend too xx Definitely still hang on in there these cheap tests are defo not the best so I have everything crossed for you!! xxx

Hi! it is so shitty right! that starkness, and you look from different angles, different light with the hope. In your main post you mention this would be the end of the journey for you if it was negative again, do you mean you don't want to/can't try again? I'm sending you good vibes and gosh I hope it happens for you and your husband this time, you've ben through so much! and his birthday this weekend i've got my fingers crossed you will pop a champagne to celebrate 🙂

oh yea you squint , shine a light on it hoping to see a faint line! Ohh yes this is our 6th full cycle plus we have had one frozen transfer in total we have had three bfp all ending in miscarriage, I also have a very low AMH! x

Hi I am 10dp5dt and I tested this evening with a clearblue digital weeks indicator and got a bfn. I couldn't hold out anymore! I'm devestaed but I knew in my heart before I tested that I was heading for bfn. OTD is Friday but I know it won't change between now and then. I'm sending you love coz I know how it feels. It absolutely sucks

hey, I’m so sorry to hear that it’s absolutely heartbreaking 💔 sometimes tho you just know how it’s going in your heart…at least you waited till 10 days! OTD is Saturday but it’s most definitely over…sending you all my love and strength….xxx

On my last cycle, I had a BFN on my OTD (11dp5dt) but then broke out in spots on day 13. I don’t get spots (just wrinkles 🤣) so I tested again and it was positive. It didn’t work out but sometimes you can test too early.

just did the same! Day 7 FET - BFN 🥲

And this is my 2nd transfer - first was a BFP at day 7 hence why I tested early…(mc)

Preparing myself for another transfer now.
