I’m heartbroken and I guess coming here to vent and seek any miracle stories I can hold on to.
Should be 7+4 but the scan this morning I was way behind at 6 weeks but with a strong heartbeat. It’s so cruel. I’ve had some spotting and limited symptoms but I’m on steroids so was told it could mask them.
I just wondered if there’s any hope at all that this little one can catch up. I have another scan in 7 days xx

I’m sorry you have this stress. I miscarried earlier this year at 9 weeks and my scan at 7w5 had a slow heart beat and measured a few days behind. I was told the measurements were much less of a concern than the heartbeat being slow. They said heart beat was the main thing they look for and they don’t take measurements as they aren’t overly helpful so early on. Hope this helps.
I'm sorry if this is upsetting to ask about, do you mind me asking what your 'slow' rate was? I'm 7+6 measuring 6+5 on scan with minimal pregnancy Symptoms, pretty sure of dates though. I did ovulate from both sides this cycle so don't know if that affects timings / potentially could delay ovulation. HR was 107 apparently which seems low to me but 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ Another scan in 10 days can't stand the waiting
I dont have any experience that may help you but I thought it might be worth considering that IVF pregnancies may have different timings that natural pregnancies and this may just mean you appear to be measuring behind. For example, I know that I generally get Peak Fertility on Day 11 of my cycle with the Clear Blue ovulation tests so I presumably ovulate on day 11 or 12 normally. However, my egg collection wasnt until around Day 18 of my cycle due to stims taking longer than anticipated. If I then get pregnant this cycle, surely that would affect things and I would appear to be behind because they would track things from the date of my last period and yet I am not due to even do my pregnancy test until what would be Day 34 or 35 if you count it from then. Hoping and praying that this is the case for you and everything will be fine at your next scan Xx
