10dp5dt.. Don’t you just hate faint lines! 🤦‍♀️

So I took a pregnancy test yesterday at 9dp5dt and I got a faint line. I had a cry and wrote this cycle off as a chemical. I was going to stop all my medications but I didn’t since my partner asked me to keep taking them.

Even though I’ve had a several transfers I don’t have much experience with early pregnancy tests. My first FET ended in a chemical and it totally put me off testing early. My new clinic doesn’t offer a beta hcg on test day so it’s back to urine tests.

I suppose I’m asking does this look fairly normal for 10dp5dt? I assume with the second line I should keep taking the drugs, even though the line is faint? Bottom test is todays 10dp5dt. OTD is tomorrow

Xx

Hi, congratulations lovely. The bottom test definitely looks darker so I’d say that’s a good sign! Can you maybe call your clinic and explain that you’re worried? Hopefully that line keeps getting darker and darker. Sending lots of love ❤️

There is definitely progression and that’s the main thing! I don’t think there’s a ‘normal’ line for 10dpt. It depends on fresh or frozen, when it implanted etc. my sister had a much paler line at 10dpt and baby is now 18 months

I know the panic re chemicals so I totally feel your pain and am so sorry you haven’t got a definitive answer. I would try and stay optimistic though as I think progression looks good and maybe get an HCG on Monday? Heaps of luck xx

I completely agree with Daisy! Please don’t stop your medications, hopefully you’ll get more reassurance from the clinic on a Monday. Sending you love ❤️

looks like it's getting darker to me. line strength is subjective to us all too, different hormone levels etc. congratulations xx

Please please please don’t stop your medication!

the progression between the 2 is actually really good for a day later, considering your hcg should double every 48 hours. Line strength isn’t everything. I had dark lines for both my losses whereas many women on my pregnancy app had much, much lighter lines but went on to have successful pregnancies.

I know it’s hard but try to just focus on the positive now. Wishing you so much luck for otd xx

Thanks very much everyone 💕 it’s so helpful to read all of your comments, so thank you. I’ve continued my medications and I’ll test again tomorrow/Monday. If there’s still a line I’ll ask for a hcg 🤞🤞🤞Fingers crossed, it’s not over yet! X
