I decided to test a day early and got a faint positive. We did a double transfer and I had light spotting 36 hours after my transfer, so assume the embryo would be fully settled in my now. I’m now worried it could be a chemical as I’ve had this before.
I have to note I did my first wee at 4.30am and then tested with my next at 6.30am. Could this be a reason why the line isn’t as strong?
Anyone else got faint lines and go onto having positive outcome. X

Hard to do but best wait till your OTD before retesting It is best to use 1st pee of the day as it is more concentrated .Meantime try to keep yourself occupied - walking - reading a book or watching some old films Rest when you can - eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of fluids Continue with any meds you were given as directed
Congratulations! The urine concentration and time of day can definitely make a difference - weirdly my lines were always stronger in the afternoon than first morning and that really freaked me out at first before I realised that was just the way my weird body likes to roll 😀 Hopefully if you test again in a day or so it will have darkened but I found only repeat hcgs were reliable for me in knowing what was going on, so if you're getting those done hopefully that will reassure you, but it's a tough wait.
Hi, thank you and thanks for sharing! That’s made me feel much better. Tomorrow is my official test date, so hopefully HCG will come back with a positive result. It’s hard not to over think every little thing in this process. X
fingers and toes crossed for you!! 🤞🏽 I’m also a darker in the afternoon person so a pee first thing in the morning with only 2 hour hold could defo affect the reading darkness xx
Thank you for your message. I tested with my first pee this morning and I didn’t get a darker line. Infact it looked slightly lighter. Just had my bloods taken so should find out in a few hours.
Thanks for asking. My levels came back as 26 which isn’t great but because they are over 25 I have to repeat the bloods in 24 hours. Doesn’t look great for me. Just have to try again. X
Aww you never know but I understand how you are feeling. at least they are doing the HCGs to give you some clarity 😢 I’ve had a few chemicals and they are really rough on the emotions and my clinic do t really do the bloods unless bleeding 💜
Hi Londongirl84 , I don't have any similar experience as I've never had a positive (or a faint positive) test but I wanted to post to say my thoughts are with you and I hope the bloods give some clarity x
