hi Catlady, i have heard some paint fumes are bad but not sure if all are bad. Would definitely avoid white spirit and turps. But maybe if you avoid that room and keep house well ventilated you'll be ok? Or if it still smells bad, stay out as much as possible? In the past i phoned midwifes to ask about paints from an artist pov and they were helpful. So might be worth getting proffessional opinion. I do also look at the VOC labels and also avoid anything that smells strong. But im no expert. In any case, better to be safe than sorry. X
Hi Catlady. It is most important to keep away from strong smells during IVF and fertilisation. Once pregnant, then just make sure the house is well ventilated and wear a mask if you feel more protected. I'm sure all will be well. Diane
