pregnancy symptoms
Hi, this is my first pregnancy as I’ve never had a natural pregnancy but my pregnancy symptoms aren’t mild and are pretty full on, especially the sickness. I think it depends from person to person rather than ivf or natural but as I say, I’ve never had a natural pregnancy so can’t really compare xx
I think maybe with IVF, since you know an egg has been implanted, you're probably more expectant of symptoms and therefore looking out for them more closely. My first IVF pregnancy I had horrendous symptoms from 6-12 weeks and I am very early into this pregnancy and I am having heightened sense of smell and sickness already.
Oh I'm 5 weeks 4 days, still no symptoms at all
That’s still very very early! Lots of people don’t have symptoms that early regardless of whether it’s c IVF or not. Pregnant is pregnant and your body doesn’t know how it happened, it will just respond in the way it would anyway.
Congratulations!!

My friend is 26 weeks and she hasn't had a single symptom. If it wasn't for the obvious baby growing in her belly, she wouldn't even know she was pregnant. My sister was the same, she has had 5 babies naturally and never had morning sickness, heart burn, cravings, nothing
There is another group you might get more answers on - Fertility Network Pregnancy Support, some people find pregnancy questions really hard to read on this forum.
As you know I am a few days ahead of you - all I have is slightly sore boobs x
I've had the worst morning sickness with both ivf pregnancies, all the way through with number one and still going strong at 35 weeks with number two!
No two women are the same when it comes to pregnancy. Symptoms and experiences vary greatly from one person to another person regardless of natural or IVF pregnancy. So I wouldn't read too much into a lack of symptoms.
