*sensitive Subchorionic hemorrhage

I am currently 10 +4 days and on Friday I had a huge bleed which was found to be a subchorionic bleed. The hubby and son we’re out of town and I was alone during the experience. The baby and I are fine, however I am terrified. Has anyone had one of these and what was the outcome. The fertility clinic doesn’t want to see me until next week when they discharge me from the clinic. I think I want a private scan for comfort.

Hi I had this with my little girl . I bled fairly heavily with quite bad pains a few times pre 12 weeks. I thought a few times that it was over but my little girl is now 2. Please try not to worry. It’s just like a little bruise xxx

Thanks for your encouraging words. It’s only happened once. I will try to relax

It’s so so common, believe me! I had it too, it was 2.5cm at some point and then it got 100% reabsorbed. I know at least 8 women who had it recently in their first trimester. Take it easy and it will resolve! Are you on medication? Xx

Yes, aspirin, progesterone and estradiol. Thank you for your encouraging words.

I had this had bleeding for weeks and 2 episodes of huge bleeding and clots! It was incredibly scary! I was told to take it easy for a bit and the clinic did scan me a few times and I also did private scans to help calm my worries/fears/nerves and it did eventually resolve itself (he is 15 months now!) get lots of rest lovely and get scanned as many times as you need to 🤗 xx

Same! Has the bleed week 5/6 and daughter is now two xxxx

Hello lovely I had this and annoyingly bled on and off through to around 12 weeks. Scary but we are now at 22 weeks with the haematoma finally resolved.x A few of the bleeds were very heavy with clots which was very scary as I was sure it had gone but here we are. I would probably advise against the private scan as hard as it is as these things take time & you can get conflicting information. Stay strong and lots of being good to yourself. Xx

I had a huge bleed with my son at 5 weeks and thought for sure I miscarried. A scan showed a strong heart beat and he is 26 months now! I wish fertility clinics warned that this is quite common with IVF pregnancies. I had a miscarriage with a spontaneous pregnancy last year and I never bled. All the best!

Yes, I read that they were common with IVF pregnancy. We would be pre warned about the possibility.
