7dp5dt red blood

hey all

I am 7dp5dt and this morning I had a spot of red blood on my tissue when I wiped. I feel like I am about to start my period dull ache in belly, lower back and legs.i am taking HRT 3times a day and cyclogest pessaries twice a day so does this mean the spotting can't be the start of my period? I'm sure HRT tablets stop period?

Spotting is nothing to worry about. Keep an eye on it and fingers crossed it won’t turn into more bleeding. As long as it’s spotting you should be absolutely fine! Best of luck x

Could be due to irritation after using pessaries - hoping it settles down . Keep taking any medication you have been given as directed .Take care of yourself

I had implantation bleeding at 6 days so not too late. Huge good luck ❤️💫 When's otd?

Not too late, it’s more the flow than timing from experience. If it’s just spotting then I wouldn’t worry at all. Crossing everything for you xx

I spotted late, bright red blood, just on the day of test. Now I'm 9 weeks!

The hormones don’t always hold off a period in my experience but bleeding can be so many things (your period, irritation from pessaries, implantation, a chemical pregnancy and in my successful round an SCH). So it’s really hard to tell but it defo doesn’t mean you are for sure out! You should be able to test about now and see what’s going on or wait until test day to be sure 😘 Wishing you lots of luck xxxx

Hi this happened to me 3 times even when I was on progesterone injections and all 3 times, it got heavier as the days went on .I would call the clinic and tell them how your feeling hopefully they will do a test and up your pessaries.

Yes definitely give the clinic a ring. Like Klankers said, It could be that you need to increase the pessaries.. All the best xx

Thanks everyone. Clinic said it's normal to spot at this stage and nothing to worry about yet. My OTD is sat but did a sneaky test today. I'm not sure if I can see a faint line?
