No! Don't stop your meds...5 days post 5 day transfer is too early to know anything xx
I'm 5dp5dt , I have zero symptoms, but I don't want to test as I saw sometimes beta on 10dp5dt can be low so it can be undetectable at that point , I know it's hard but you should continue with your medications
Hey I have zero symptoms I’m not even bloated also when will you test ?
I will have the beta tested on day 11dp5dt, I will not lie with not having symptoms not even constipation or sore boobs it's hard to believe that it worked , but again I had those symptoms the last three failed transfers so ... we can't know for sure until we know
I didn't have any symptoms when I got pregnant previously and didn't test until day 29 of my 28 day cycle when I got a faint positive line which then got stronger when I tested the next day. I didn't develop any symptoms until I was at 5 if not 6 weeks pregnant and then boy did they all kick in big time. So lack of symptoms doesn't mean anything.
Absolutely not! 5 days post transfer is way too early to be sure that it’s been unsuccessful! Wait for your OTD. Mine was 11 days post so hopefully something like that. I had no symptoms the whole 11 days, and then got a positive on testing. Try to avoid testing in the meantime. It’ll just drive you mad! 🤪
Mine is 5 day transfer so I thought it would 5 dpt

Nope. Also a 5 day transfer for me but it can definitely take longer than 5 days for a test to be positive. When did your clinic tell you to test? It might be useful for you to give them a call to clarify if you’re unsure.
They booked me for in for bloods on the 8 th they didn’t tell me to test at all .. it’s just the last transfer I had i knew it had worked I had all the symptoms by day 3 and I texted on day 8 very strong positive unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage at 9 weeks .. .. I feel the complete opposite from my last transfer & then when I seen the 2 negative tests I just assumed I was out
Don’t stop your meds!! It’s way too early to be testing! I started with implantation bleeding at around 5DP5DT. Hold off until OTD, You’ll only drive yourself crazy with tests! Sending you lots of luck x
My beta is always 14days post transfer, some people don't get a BFP until day 11, you are way too early to be giving up! Good luck x
Thanks for replying.. I’ll keep my fingers crossed and tested again during the week
My clinic says firmly DO NOT stop meds until they tell you to.
Thanks 😊
I had no symtoms on 5dpt in the cycle that worked and also assumed I’m out, but on 11dpt had a strong positive. So please don’t stop your meds! Also in general I would suggest not to stop them without discussing it with your clinic.
Keep taking your meds its too early to test! Try not to test again until your official test date and keep taking your meds. Also a lot of people don't get any symptoms at all.
You need to wait until your official test day which is likely to be at least 10 days or even 14 days post transfer and keep taking your meds otherwise it could be the withdrawal of your meds that results in a BFN when you actually had a BFP. Speak to your clinic if you have any concerns. 5 days post transfer is way too early for a positive to show up on a test. All the best with it. I hope you get a positive when you get to the OTD!
I had ZERO symptoms with my second baby (which was different to my first where I had lots of symptoms and knew it had worked). I was convinced it had not worked so I was really upset for a week until test day. I tested early on day 7 and had a reallllly faint positive on a first response but it can take longer so please give your body a chance and wait a bit longer.
Don't stop your medicines. As my doctor said "if the first days after transfer were good enough to know if it worked, or your gut feeling, we would order a blood test then, and not 2 weeks later". Follow your doctor's instructions, some people don't have a positive until 9 days after or just in the blood test. Having zero symptoms is normal. The bloated feeling and the pregnancy symptoms sometimes appear immediately and sometimes, weeks later. I know how you feel, i had 8 failed iui and 4 failed FET. Then i had myblast Fet in June, two days after I broke my foot (needed Xrays), and then i got covid a day after. I thought I was out, and well it had never worked before, so.... and also i had no symptoms. My clinic always says that you need to keep moving, that resting too much leads to BFN and I always followed the advice Now, I could not even be out of bed and then i got a surprise BFP.
Wow that’s was a surprise. That’s gives me hope .. thanks for replying I’ll keep you posted
I know is cliché, but try to relax. In my case my foot and covid forced me to relax (and think on something else), and i think that helped.
hey , so I listen and continued with the meds I tested on Friday which was day 10 had a very faint line . I have my bloods Monday & I haven’t tested since Friday
I know I won’t know for sure until I get my bloods .. however am I clutching straw here ?
5 days past??? Absolutely not keep taking the meds! The worst thing would be to have ‘what ifs’ as you could look back and think ‘maybe if I kept going with the meds it might have worked’
Here’s the journey of a typical 5day embryo (day 1 is the day AFTER you had the embryo transfer) as you can see it would still be another few days until HCG picked up by blood test so vey easy for it not to even show on a pregnancy test for even a couple of days after that depending on their sensitivity. Hang in there xx
Day 1: The blastocyst begins to hatch out of its shell.
Day 2: The blastocyst continues to hatch out of its shell and begins to attach itself to the uterus.
Day 3: The blastocyst attaches deeper into the uterine lining, beginning implantation.
Day 4: Implantation continues.
Day 5: Implantation is complete. Cells that eventually become the placenta and fetus have begun to develop.
Day 6: Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), the hormone that signals a developing pregnancy, starts to enter the blood stream.
Days 7 and 8: Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted.
Day 9: Levels of hCG are now high enough in maternal blood to detect a pregnancy using a blood test.
Hey thanks for replying I appreciate you taking the time to go into so much detail .. I definitely keep taking my meds & test again during the week .. I’ll keep you posted 🤞

No takes longer to know .. your doctor is the one to say when to stop them.
My came negative till 8th day...after that beta HCG also only 22 on 10th day..and i am 9 week pregnant now ..no symptoms at all .even now also 9 don't have sore boobs. Keep patience.. have faith ..take ur medications on time. Best luck
I absolutely no symptoms but I guess it seems common .. thanks for replying back I’ll keep you posted 🤞
Heavens no! I didn't have a positive test until day 9 of 5 day embryo. And now I have my baby. Some women never have symptoms. Don't sabotage yourself by stopping already. Your clinic should have informed you of this.
