Just here to share my story and get some words of support from this wonderful group.

We had a FET on 20th July and have had positive tests yesterday (10dp5dt) and today, but not super dark.

We had a chemical pregnancy with our last FET, so just praying this one sticks! Have beta test tomorrow 🤞🏼

They look good to me so congratulations! I do know how hard it is though as we had a chemical before our successfully one and sadly you will just not know until the days pass and the line will get stronger. Remember in the early stages HCG levels are low so the doubling time takes longer than later on when it can go up much faster! And try to compare lines more 2-3 days apart then 1 day apart as you will be able to see progression much better.

And maybe ask your clinic or GP for HCG bloodtests to help ease your mind in the early stages?

Have the blood test tomorrow so time will tell! Annoyingly we could have had a test yesterday but was away for the weekend so waiting until Monday. Fingers crossed! Thank you for your message x

Update: Beta test came back at HCG 98 on 12dp5dt, which the clinic say is ok but on the lower end of the scale.

Repeating bloods on Wednesday, so praying for doubling 🙏🏼

Update: Beta up from 98 on Monday to 281 today 🎉

They want me to come back on Friday & Monday for more betas just to check everything is progressing, but it looks positive!

Today's beta was 671! Up 140% on Wednesday, so they were very happy with that.

One more beta on Monday just to check everything is progressing and then that'll be it until the scan at 7/8 weeks.

I cannot believe after 5 very long years this is finally happening 🥺

Could I please ask. Did your clinic give you any advice on your cycle after the chemical? I have just experienced a chemical and have just started bleeding. I’m waiting for follow up with the consultant to review the last cycle (donor eggs). Did you bleed for long after your chemical? Mine is on and off so far.

I’m so sorry to hear about your chemical, it’s heartbreaking isn’t it. The bleeding I had was quite watery but I don’t think it lasted much less or longer than normal, then we had a month break because we were going to a festival.

The major thing we changed between this cycle and last was blood thinner (Clexane) and steroids (prednisolone) for repeated implantation failure - I’d had 3 previous transfers with top quality embryos, one chemical with a positive HPT and one very low HCG blood test. Could be something to speak to your doctor about if you haven’t had this already?

Mine is watery too and tummy is still puffy. I was on high dose progesterone pessaries and injections every 3 days, 20mg prednisone and blood thinners. Not sure if there are any meds changes the doctor will recommend. I think they will say same meds but maybe check sperm for DNA etc. only other option I think is PGT testing. Have you tested any of your embryos in the past? From reading others feedback the number of normal embryos is approx half to Jess than half, so it does make you wonder if in long run it may save time and heartbreak.

We didn’t have them tested for various reasons, but we did want to and had been advised to. Maybe we just got lucky with the combo of extra drugs/this embryo being genetically normal.

My husband has relatively high DNA fragmentation so it seemed like the right thing to do. If this cycle had failed we’d planned to do another egg collection cycle and do the PGT. Our doctor recommended Proxeed to help with the sperm issues.

Just an update in case anyone comes across this in the future, we had a scan today at 6+6. Baby measuring 6+5 and strong heart beat 💪🏼
