Hi Hoping2021, am also on 2WW after my first transfer (FET) so now I really can relate to the rollercoaster I’ve read so much about!
I’m watching season 5 of Better Call Saul which is entertaining enough to provide some distraction (streaming on Amazon).
Also, yesterday, I realised I needed something meditative and came across Robyn Birkin’s fertility meditation on YouTube. Plus some other resources on her website e.g.
I was actually due to be off work this week but had to postpone due to some urgent issues at work. I am wondering whether that is actually a blessing in disguise 😂
Started my 2ww today aswell - I’ve been in this spot quite a few times too! I binged Succession on Netflix in my last 2ww but Sunflower’s recommendations are both far more uplifting! I love both those shows so if you havn’t watch I’ll second the recommendation! I’m a big fan of trying to get out for a walk - I always feel better afterwards My cat usually ends up getting even more spoiled that usual, if you don’t have a cat baby I highly recommend that to pass the hours ha
Hey hoping, I had my FET yesterday so happy to see you're on a similar timeline!
I'm currently watching Pray and Obey (love a crime drama) and glad that Love Island has a few more nights to entertain me. My partner got me Animal Crossing for Nintendo switch during stims and at first I really rolled my eyes because I am not a gamer, but I'm 60+ days later still logging in every day to water my crops and plant flowers hahah all credit to him.
Hello! I asked my consultant if I was allowed to have a massage and he said yes! So that's exactly what I did the day after my transfer and it was lovely. So I'd recommend this!
Take it easy if you can - eat well and drink plenty of fluids - Take any meds you have been given as directed Try to keep yourself distracted by re-reading your favourite book - catch up with friends on facebook etc Watch a boxset or an funny film Take care of yourself have a pamper night -do nails face pack the works and enjoy it Good luck for OTD
I had my fresh transfer yesterday with donor embryo. My first one, so it’s all new to me, didn’t get anywhere with my own eggs. I’m working from home but feel quite nauseous - I assume that’s normal. I feel very tired so I plan to try to sleep a lot when not working 😂 Better Call Saul is brilliant. Also Stranger Things if you haven’t watched it and Hacks is very funny (I think that’s on Prime).
