Egg quality

So I just got my call to say 3 eggs are good, 3 are ok, and the rest are a mixture. (11eggs made it to fertilisation stage)Still going ahead to have transfer on day 5 (Monday)but I’m just worrying now. Things can change from now to Monday, I just hope the quality improves so I have some to store away. Xx

3 good and 3 ok is a good place to be! Only around 60% are supposed to make it to day 5 so you are on track.

We had problems with embryo quality and never had any blastocysts to transfer or any spare embryos to freeze. It was evident from an early stage in the lab that things weren’t developing as they should, so we had a day 2 or 3 transfer each time. The fact you have 3 looking good at the moment and your clinic want to go to day 5 is a really good position to be in. So breathe and think positive 💕

We lost a baby at 8 weeks (mmc) from our first cycle and I’m now 33 weeks pregnant from our 4th cycle. Still can’t believe one of our “poor quality” embryos made it! xx

That's great news! I would try not to worry. Chances are you will have at least a few strong day 5 blastocysts to transfer and hopefully a couple to freeze too. Wishing the best of luck for you! xx

I just hope we all have success, It makes you think, what did we do to have this problem to conceive naturally. So unfair. 😞 but we are fighters. We can do this🙌🏽
