I could really use some advice

I had my FET on the 21st and got my BFP last week ❤️ This afternoon - sorry TMI moment - I noticed I had some brown discharge. I’m now terrified and convinced I feel like AF is coming but don’t know if I’m feeling that because I’m terrified!

Anyone had anything similar? I’d love some positive advice xxxx

I had brown blood with my first bfps, could be implantation, brown blood is old blood, congratulations ❤️🙂

Congratulations on your BFP!Brown blood is old blood so likely irritation maybe to toot cervix or left over from implantation.

Keep an eye on it, if it gets heavier just call your clinic and they should be able to advise xx

Hi there, I’m currently 7w5d and had not just brown blood but an actual bleed at around 6w, followed by days of spotting. My clinic checked my HCG levels which came back above average and did a scan where we saw a heartbeat and no real reason for the bleed. They said it’s very common in early pregnancy and that unless it becomes full flow or is accompanied by severe cramps, not to worry. I hope this provides some comfort! xx

It might be worth getting your progesterone levels checked - there are lots of other reasons for brown blood and spotting, and like others have said it's quite common and usually nothing to worry about, but mine related to progesterone and I needed extra support throughout my first trimester. Your clinic or GP might test it for you, or there are private online companies. If it comes back fine then it's also one less thing to worry about
