Scared 😱 and excited

OMG first ever positive test this morning😭😭😭🤞🏻🤞🏻. I am so scared. We have been trying for 10 years? This is our 4th transfer. We struggle to get that far. I don’t know what to do with myself. I’m going to try and get a blood test next week to confirm. Can anyone give me any advice to try and relax 😘😘😘😘

Aww congratulations!! That’s amazing news ❤️❤️

Unfortunately I can’t give advice on staying calm because it took us 6 transfers and I was beside myself when I got the news it was positive.

The only thing that helped me was just to keep telling myself over and over that there was no reason it wouldn’t progress.

Good luck xx

Ahh so happy for you! My advice is don’t bother trying to relax - it’s the most exciting news in the world! Congratulations xx

Congratulations! Lovely news.x we also got a bfp this morning (transfer 6). Also been trying around 10 years! It’s scary and exciting all at once. Good luck going forward. I have a very light Pilates class ( lots of breathing) to try & stay relaxed. Also just going to stick with the healthy eating & take one day at a time.xx

Now that is scary x will you be getting a blood test done to confirm. It feels like I’ve dreamed this morning and now feels weird 🤪🤪

Yes, our clinic does a blood test as standard so that’s booked for tomorrow. I’m never sure if numbers are helpful or not. I’m not sure if I would rather just go with it thinking positively without any numbers but equally it might be reassuring. I’m probably overthinking again🙃

Huge congratulations! So pleased for you. It took us 7 transfers (8 years) and I found it almost impossible to relax. Try to take it one day at a time rather than jumping too far ahead if you can. Keep yourself busy/occupied (ideally not with Google), eat well and get outside for little walks if you can. But just try not to put too much pressure on yourself to be relaxed because that in itself might just make you feel more anxious/stressed! Wishing you the best of luck for your pregnancy lovely xxx

That’s amazing news! Delighted for you, no advise on relaxing as I was anxious for months lol only thing that helped was to remind myself ‘today you are pregnant’ and worry about tomorrow tomorrow. Congratulations 🥳 💜 xx

Such great news! Congratulations! 🎉Enjoy it! I’m now 12 days after getting my first positive ever! My clinic don’t do blood tests so waiting for a scan in 10days time! It’s a crazy wait! Good luck to you x

I’m really struggling to get a blood test through GP. I’m day 13 after 5day blastocyst. Not sure what to do. Should I test again or just wait for midwife 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

It’s so hard isn’t it?! I’m just trying to wait it out. x

I have just called to my clinic and they said the same - they do not do blood test but book me for a scan in 2 weeks time. I do not know how I will wait for another 2 weeks 🙈. It's crazy :)

Congratulations! Enjoy the moment and take it day by day. The best advice I can give is to think about how far you come. When I had my successful pregnancy, I tried to remind myself at every stage that this was the furthest we had got 🥰🥰
