Good morning you lovely lot!! Im back ready for my 4th round at a new self funded clinic, all my other rounds have been on the nhs so not really sure how self funded works… do we have a option one where we get meds? I’m sure I have seen on here before people getting them from asda online pharmacy? I could be wrong but any advice welcome please

Medication costs where is best to get medication???
With self-funded rounds you can ask for a private prescription that can be used at any pharmacy. Some packages include meds in the cost so you won't need to source them. But if the cost does not include them it will likely be much more expensive buying them from the clinic than getting them yourself with the prescription. I used Stork but there's Asda, Fertility2u, and others someone else will likely suggest. Even your local pharmacy might do them at a reasonable cost so it's worth getting a quote once you have the prescription. xx
I literally just paid for my meds. Same as you other rounds were nhs. Feel free to pm me if you want to know the prices I paid , maybe we are taking similar meds.
I went with Pharmasure . Only because clinic ordered them from there for me
With a private clinic, always get a private prescription so you can buy your meds elsewhere. It’s a really big difference. And yes, Asda in my experience are amazing because they have a no-profit model for these meds, so they just charge you what they’ve paid…. For the round I’m about to start the clinic quoted me £2250 - I got it all from Asda for £1350! So a massive difference. Still crazy expensive, though. Good luck 🤞💪
