Scaling the walls- 1 week to go

Ahhhh ladies how do you cope with the wait? I’ve got a week to go. Honestly. The first day I don’t have work or a distraction and I’ve read every inch of google and had to stop myself ordering tests online multiple times. Any suggestions? I might paint my nails so I can’t use my phone while they dry. 🤦‍♀️

Hmmm it's a tough one. With my 3x 2ww I always tested early which was the biggest mistake cause it drove me even crazier than just the waiting itself. Go for a nice walk and grab a hot drink with a friend, lots of Netflix, read a book. Make a video call with friends or relatives, if you have any very light house chores waiting to be done, or rearrange your wardrobe ready for the spring 🥰 Best of luck and sending lots if baby dust your way XXX 🍀🍀🍀🌺🌺🌺

That wardrobe idea is fantastic. I can do that with a cuppa and will certainly be too distracted to think about anything else! Thank you.

Podcasts + adult coloring books. Good film/show + tackling a pile of ironing. Relaxing music + a good long stretching session. I find if I have something mental and physical going on at the same time it's the best distraction, so put a podcast or film on while you're doing your nails!! Hope the rest of it doesn't drag too much and ends in a positive xxx

My sister got me a fab nail set as a gift so might finally sit down and do that. Always love a pod cast recommendation. Thank you.

Pieces of her on Netflix will easily kill a few hours! Lots of luck 🤞🏻X

Whats OTD? Mine is Friday 18th nd im starting to go mad too. Had a good night last night ordered dim sum to cook at home with my fave girls and make mocktails. So many i think i may have a fruit juice hangover today, also did a big walk yesterday to my fave brunch spot ( audio book required to stop my brain going there though). I may watch every harry potter this week on the nights after work as thats my safe space. Hoping you find something to get you through this last bit and sending literal positive thoughts your way xx

18th. I’m really struggling. It’s horrible. I’ve got a big walk with the dog planned today. I’ve got some work I need to do that I can hopefully get lost in. I’ve woken up this morning feeling really negative. I just feel like it hasn’t worked. No idea why and no reason for it.

Hi! You are not alone. My OTD is on the 19th, and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s hard not to be super vigilant about how your body is feeling, and I’m finding that extra hard as don’t really have any symptoms apart from a bit bloating!

I’ve been doing a jigsaw puzzle (😂) this weekend and am finding it’s good doing something with my hands. Also gone for a few walks and watched a few films, but honestly it’s so hard to keep my mind from overthinking. I like Klndmr idea of rearranging your wardrobe from Spring. Might give that a try.

Xx

Fingers crossed. I don’t imagine I’m going to last until the 19th. My head is all over. I’ve got no real symptoms other than waking up today feeling really down and being exhausted (which has been for a while) it’s just so bloody hard.

I know! The 19th feels like an age away. What has convinced me to wait more than anything was seeing one woman say if you test early and it’s a negative, it makes it super hard to keep taking your meds. Don’t know why, but that particular reasoning clicked with me and has convinced me to wait! Xx
