Hi ladies, I posted a couple of weeks ago about bleeding I’d had at 14 weeks BFP (big bleed, then continued spotting for the last 3 weeks) my clinic scanned me after the bleed, but couldn’t see anything unusual but as the bleeding has continued I decided to book a private scan for piece of mind. Baby looks ok which is a relief but they found a Subchorionic Hematoma. Does anyone have any experience of this or advice? I’m going to try and call epas but worried they’ll tell me they can’t see me until my next appointment which is in 4 weeks time. It looked so big on the screen

It seemed no-one had any experience to share with you, and neither have I, but I'm really curious how things have been going with you ❤
Hi, no seems no one has had anything similar. I’m doing ok, went for the scan with Nhs and they measured the hematoma but couldn’t provide any advise as they don’t support consultations outside the normal scans ( 20weeks is my next official one so hoping I can get more info) bleeding is now minimal but I’ve pretty much just be resting, working from home which makes that easier. I’ve read too much on other forums about the risks and as I don’t have other advice it’s the only thing that seems sensible to do baby still there, so trying to stay hopefully things settle and this thing shrinks in the next scan xxx I see from your own posts your levels are is being monitored, I think they did the same for me, checked over a week that it was increasing as I’d had a little bleed (maybe implantation) but the doubling seemed slower that they’d thought. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you, it’s such a stressful time but stay positive xxx
