Period before OTD 😞

After convincing myself that I could be pregnant my period has arrived before test day. Disappointing but no way to change it now. This journey is such an emotional rollercoaster!

I feel like you start it full of optimism, but soon you’re left with the reality that it might not work for you.

Sending lots of love to anyone whose also has a bfn, especially recently xxxx

So sorry to hear this Redfox 😔❤ this happened to me on my first transfer. I bled before my test date. How many days past transfer are you today? As my clinic told me it may have been because I didn't have enough progesterone 😔 felt like i wasted one of my best embryos. I don't think you are meant to have a full bleed/period until your medication has been stopped, so i would defo ask about this and maybe get them to test your progesterone levels xxx just so you know for next time ❤🥰 hope you're ok. It's so hard.

Hi LittlePea,Thanks for your thoughtful reply 😊 it was one day before OTD but I’m sure you’re right the meds are meant to delay the bleeding. Il definitely mention progesterone in my follow up with the consultant xxxx

Hi RedFox, so sorry to hear this. I know how hard it is as it’s hapoened to me also. Try to look after yourself and be extra kind to yourself. Take things a day at a time...it will take time to get through this experience. I hope you have some support around you and that you get some answers about what may have gone wrong. Take care now x
