It’s my TWW and I know it’s early but today is my 4dp5td and I did a home pregnancy test and I got a negative. This is my 3rd IVF trail after 2 failed one’s last year. I want to keep my hopes high.
When did you start seeing a positive ... - Fertility Network UK
When did you start seeing a positive line on your home pregnancy test? It’s my 4dp5td and I got a negative result :(
I’m really sorry you got a negative today, but from my own experience I would say that is to early and that your little embryo could still only just be implanting 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I tested so early last month aswell and I know how devastating it is to see. I got my first 2nd line at 5.5dp6dt so still nearly 2 days ahead of you depending what time your transfer was. Sending you lots and lots of luck. I’ll be praying for you positive 💗 x
The earliest you normally hear of anyone getting an early BFP is 5dp5dt and even then it’s only a handful that get it that early! Try not to worry, it’s just far too soon xx
Too early my lovely! There's a reason the clinics give us a test date
Try and hold out a bit longer xx
Try to keep yourself busy - read a good book -go for long walks - watch a boxset Eat well & drink plenty of fluids -take any meds you were given as directed Wait till your test date before doing another test Thinking of you

Too early. Too early. And too early again 😘😂 A test on day 4 means pretty much nothing Lovely, you are 100% still in the game! Try to wait until further into your 2WW if you can, it's torture otherwise. Keep that hope alive, and file this blank test under the category of 'means nothing at all either way' 💖 Hang in there xx
😢 I’m in the exact same situation. I had my transfer on Friday 28/1 and I tested yesterday which was 4dp5dt and got a BFN. So deflated. Hoping for some positive stories.
I hope so too. Good luck 🍀. I didn’t do another test today. Just don’t want another disappointment. I figure out if we don’t test then we don’t know 😂
Earliest I’ve ever had is day 7 evening. Here’s a wee timeline to give you an idea of what’s going on in there. I’d say you are a bit too early for testing just yet 🤗 hope it works for you xx
Day 1: The blastocyst begins to hatch out of its shell.
Day 2: The blastocyst continues to hatch out of its shell and begins to attach itself to the uterus.
Day 3: The blastocyst attaches deeper into the uterine lining, beginning implantation.
Day 4: Implantation continues.
Day 5: Implantation is complete. Cells that eventually become the placenta and fetus have begun to develop.
Day 6: Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), the hormone that signals a developing pregnancy, starts to enter the blood stream.
Days 7 and 8: Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted.
Day 9: Levels of hCG are now high enough in maternal blood to detect a pregnancy using a blood test.
I think it’s actually very unusual to get a positive at this early stage. The embryo can take 3 days to settle in, it doesn’t start producing a decent amount of HCG for a while after that. I was told to test at 11dp5dt - I feel they tell you that date because it couldn’t possibly be wrong but that’s a long way from 4 days… so for a lot of people this is just way too early. They say day 8/9 is safer if you’re testing early
