HCG levels vary massively between pregnancies but 344 IU/L is consistent with pregnancy 🎉. A one-off number is usually expected to be above a specific level to confirm pregnancy (that number seems to vary between clinics but 100 IU/L seems to be the max cutoff). Did your clinic not at least confirm pregnancy with you? HCG is expected to double every 2-3 days in the first couple of weeks of pregnancy, and the doubling is more important than the absolute number once it is over 100 IU/L. However, lots of clinics don't measure blood HCG more than once (mine did not measure it at all and just went with the urine result). If you wanted to have it measured, Medichecks will do it by finger prick at home. Otherwise, hopefully you have a viability scan scheduled with your clinic? Congrats on your BFP! xx

Thank you for your reply, yes they told me I'm pregnant but I asked if it's good or not and they never answered my question.. Medichecks what that? Will that tell me my hcg levels? I have a scan booked in 3 weeks time but I've previously had a miscarriage and an ectopic so I'm just scared I might not make it to that point xx

Medichecks is a home blood testing service. They offer loads of types of blood tests all done from a finger prick of blood that you send to them in a tube. They do HCG (just called pregnancy home blood test) - you would need to do 2 separate orders if you wanted to do 2 tests a couple of days apart as annoyingly you can't order the same test twice on one order. If you can manage to wait the 3 weeks it will obviously save you some money but if you need the peace of mind, which I felt I did, they are an option. medichecks.com/products/pre... xx

Hi lovely, my clinic likes it to be over 100 on day 9 - so 344 is a good number for day 10 :)

Ahh that's good 💫🥰 have you told them about your bleeding? Probably just implantation but mention to them in case they want to up your progesterone. But for now stay relaxed no reason why your bloods won't go up by tomorrow xxx ❤

Mine were 259 at 11dp3dt so yours are good! HCG levels vary for every person and anything over 100 means your pregnant. It's the doubling over 48-72 hours that's important.

My clinic doesn't do repeat blood tests so I ordered 2 pregnancy progression blood tests from medicheck to check this xx

Plenty high enough. Mine was 61 around that time and then 385 15dp5dt. He’s due next month. Congratulations! x

Mine is 402 and I’m super worried about high hcg associating with Down syndrome and molar pregnancy. I’m high risk as I’m 41. Really really worried

Hi BabyCalin! Just wanted to tell you not to stress! Values must be much higher to point out to that risk. Molar pregnancy is not that common. Also for DS it’s later in the pregnancy that they stay high, and again, much higher than the average in population, a measurement is something called MOM, you can Google it.

Thanks a lot Shireen. This journey is super hard. I’ll have it checked again in 2 days. Hopefully will be ok. Thanks once again

Good luck! I also thought my values were too high. That’s why I read so much about it :) My NIPT came back low risk so I worried for nothing.
