NHS IVF SO SLOWLY 🥺

Hi girls, I started my adventure with NHS on July off this year so in six months I barely managed to do a few test, chlamydia test, blood test that is done in the first day of the cycle and my husband semen exam, so all this time we was waiting for the results test l, so far everything looks good, now they book me for the next week to do the hycosy this one scares me a lot because I have it done last year and I know already how that feels 🥺 but thinking about why I'm doing this motivates me to move on.

Does anyone know what the next step will be after it?

Hello 👋 Once you've had all your tests bloods, hycosy and investigations done the NHS will refer you into a IVF clinic and they will apply for the NHS funding. I wondering why they are making you repeat the Hycosy? As I've had it done privately and they have accepted this. I would call and ask them if you can use your hycosy you did last year? If they accept this then it shouldn't be to much wait.

As I've done the hycosy part I've got bloods hepatitis, TSH etc to be done I then hopefully can also start the cycle.

I know how frustrating the wait is.

Xx

6 months to get blood tests results seems a very long time I would give them a call on Monday to chase things up. I was referred in October 2021 and had a initial consultation December, then bloods been arranged. Xx

Thank you for your time to reply to me, I just send them a email with the hycosy test result and asked them if they can take it instead of doing it again, hopefully 🙏 will be good because I have done that test on 9th October 2020

Hi Silvia. Now you have sent the report re your Hy-co_Sy test, they will be able to speed up things a bit and get your funding in place ready to start your IVF cycle. Good luck! Diane
