Hi!
I just had my first transfer today, it was a grade B blastocyst embryo.
They have 3 more but they will know tomorrow the quality and they can be freeze. (Seems they are slow growers)
I want to know your experience with grade B embryos
Thanks xx

I don't know myself but heard people on here say people have had BFP on different grade eggs. Enjoy being PUPO! And sending best of luck for your embryo implanting and for the others. I am booked in for my transfer tomorrow 🤞
No experience with B grades however I’ve had two transfers of A grades which have either not worked or resulted in a miscarriage. Currently pregnant with twins using my last A grade and a C grade so don’t worry too much about grades. Our embryologist and consultant said only gold standards embryos that have potential to become babies are frozen 🥰 so good luck, take care of yourself and hopefully that little one is nesting in! X
thank you!!! you are probably right about not thinking too much about the grades, but as I don't understand some of the steps from this road....I can only wonder...
I guess that it can be possible to have a pregnancy with all kind of grades, but the most likely to succeed are first A, then B, C, D
Thanks for the words of encouragement xx
Hi, I dont know anything much about the grades but I am wishing you the very best.Lookuing forward to your BFP news!!
Hi I don't know much about gardes,both times I transferred 5bb grades,one has worked and one hasn't.
So don't worry about grade, best of luck sweetie 😘 xxx
Hiya. I’ve heard of people getting positive results from grade B. All my previous were grade A and I didn’t get a positive, so grading isn't the be all and end all.I had my transfer today too. Unfortunately whilst mine had reached blastocyst stage, they were so early they couldn’t be graded, so they put 2 embryos in and said they’d call me tomorrow if the 3rd and final one is viable for freezing. So happy I’ve at least had something transferred just praying the little embryos develop and stick now!
Fingers crossed for you, assume your test day is 3rd Dec too? X
Hi! such an exciting times!!!! so you are in a similar as me, hopefully tomorrow they will tell me if they have been able to freeze the other embryos.
my test day is the 7th
I am hoping for a lot of people saying they have positive results!!!! xx
So you test on day 19? Good luck to you, wishing you positive vibes. TTW can be pretty tough, you second guess everything and read into every twitch you have. But try and just relax, do things that keep your mind occupied and happy, whatever they might be. I’m working this time round, but from home, so it’s less stressful for me and I’ve got lots of arts and craft things to do in evenings, as that’s what relaxes me. Fingers crossed we all get positive results xxx
Honestly, I wouldn't worry for a second about grades. I have been on this forum for a long time and have seen some of the best graded embryo transfers not getting anywhere and then some of the worst being successful. The hospital only really grade to decide on which are better and which are best for freezing.. but if you think about it when people get pregnant naturally we don't know what grade anything is.. it either sticks or it doesn't.
My sister had 3 egg collections and a total of 8 transfers. Her first transfers were top grade A embryos.. she had negative after negative. Eventually she was down to her worst two embryos which were C grades and they are now 3 years old and 6 month old!!!
Focus on positive visualisation and good vibes. Good luck xx
You are right, I won't worry about it.
Now time to relax and to don't think about doing pregnancy tests at home
I love your sister story.....it is a clear prove that you never know when it can happen
We had a 'perfect' (according to the embryologist) embryo transferred on the NHS and that ended around 6 weeks. Then went private as the wait was too long even to transfer frozen, and the new clinic had a policy of not saying the grading. We transferred one on a fresh transfer which again ended around 6 weeks. Then we had a FET and changed meds and that has worked. I don't know what the grades were for the last two and that actually helped as all we knew was they were good enough to transfer or freeze. Plus the first (NHS) one, which we were told was a good as it could be, didn't change the outcome and if anything it made us think that it would definitely work so it was a shock when that ended. I think for us the quality of the embryos didn't really matter as they all implanted and it was probably a different issue with my hormones that made them fail, so I wouldn't worry about the grading. If they transferred an embryo for you it must have been good. Best of luck!
On my first round of IVF we transferred a grade A blastocyst and it was unsuccessful. I have had 3 other transfers since all B grade blastocysts and have had 2x ectopic pregnancies and one successful pregnancy. I like to look at it as all 3x B grades implanted just 2 of them were in the wrong place! Good luck in your TWW! 🤞🏻
I had a transfer in May with a very early grade B blastocyst. Currently 30 weeks and still going very well.Had a transfer last year with a higher grade blastocyst that was hatching, so in theory, much stronger, and had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks.
I’ll always be grateful for having another chance and our little embryo that could x
Hi just to let you know, I am pregnant first go 30 weeks with ICSI on a B grade blastocyst. Severe MFI on all parameters. I wish you the best and to give you hope. Goodluck on your journey.
Hello - I'm currenrly in labour, my waters just broke after my induction began on Monday. I have a fresh 4bb hatching 5 day embie onboard - all well and good, hoping to bring her home today xx
I also have a frozen 3bb on ice. My embryologist told me that the grading was really for the fertility clinics stats, and that really all I should care about is whether it's good enough to freeze or transfer, rather than getting hung up on grading specifics xx
Good luck! ❤❤
I have 2 4BB blastocyst transferred and got BFP last week.Have my scan next monday so will find out how many stuck.
Echoing previous posters.. please try not to focus on the grades. If the clinic think the embryo is worth transferring, that's what matters most.We had a 5 day blastocyst that on thawing was a 1BB. It wasn't fully expanded by the time it was transferred, but it stuck around and I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant. 8 and 12 week scans looked good and NIPT genetic testing came back with extremely low risk (we only did NIPT privately for our own reassurance). Take each day as it comes, for now you are PUPO ♥️ xx
My 4 month old son was a 4BB embryo.
Same as other posters. I had two transfers with 1:1 blasts and one was bfn the other an early miscarriage. The third transfer which was a 2:2 (I'm guessing same as a BB) I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant with. My embryologist said its more of a beauty contest. X
