1× 1 grade (the best)
3× 2 grade
2× 3 grade
Booked in tomorrow for a day 3 transfer 2×eggs
But they said they will ring me to let me know if going ahead or waiting till Monday. But she said if we wait we may have to abandoned cycle if they don't make it
Has anyone had this im confused why tomorrow may not go ahead

They would only wait until Monday if all the embryos were doing well and they couldn’t decide between them and decide to wait and see what is capable of making a blastocyst
BUT it’s a risk as some embryos do better back in the uterus rather than the lab and may not make it to sag 5 in the lab but it might have done if it had been put back at day 3

Hi Bev. As you have got to egg collection, you don't want to lose out on this cycle, so I would say to "go ahead" with transfer. At least your embryo(s) would be back inside you where it/they belong. I do hope all turns out well. Diane
Yeah they have to reach a certain level grade before they can be transferred. All mine got frozen so in their protocol they all had to make it to day 5 before freezing. I had 9 fertilised and 5 were doing good but actually two of those stopped growing at around day 3 so they had to abandon them. I did end up with 3 good grade blastocysts
