Finally had my first ever transfer after 2 years in this ivf world and it was amazing to get to this stage, but now I am already going nuts to think I have to wait until 5th November to test.
I should be doing uni work to take my mind off it but I cannot concentrate on anything else 😂
Anybody else in the same boat? Xx

Thinking of you- just try to do things that relax you- read trashy books watch funny films long walks listening to your favourite musicGood luck for the 5th Nov
Ah I see, it’s definitely a relief getting to transfer, we had 2 rounds of complete failed fertilisation so to get 3 fertilise on this round was such an achievement. I was sure they’d die off quickly but 1 made it to day 5, wasn't quite a blastocyst yet but it’s in 🤞.
To be honest I feel fine, hopefully that will change in the next week or so. Hopefully your twinges are a good sign then!
I am planning to hold out to 8th but it’s partners bday the Thursday before (4th), I won’t test on that day in case it’s bad but maybe that weekend, would be nice to surprise him. I’ll just see how I feel I think. Do you think you’ll manage to hold on? x
Oh so pleased for you. Having one to implant is all you need hopefully.
I really don't think I'll get past 6 days, I'm just too curious. And I totally agree, how amazing would it be to surprise your partner for their birthday! Best gift ever ❤
So so happy that you've managed to have your transfer! Remember remember the 5th of November 💞 I will be thinking of you and keeping everything crossed for you, lots of love xxx
Congratulations for making it to transfer! Also in the horrible 2ww test date is the 2nd not sure I can wait that long though! I’m also supposed to be doing uni work but I can’t help but google everything 🤣 wishing you loads of luck 💖💖xxx
I think so, was thinking from testing for 6 days after. I’m just too impatient to everything my body does Im over analysing 😩 My husband is as impatient as me but least he’s not on half term so has work to keep him occupied! I’m trying to keep busy but it’s sooo hard! Of course, keep us updated how your getting on 💖 xxx
I had a Day 3 transfer yesterday (26th) so I guess we are pretty much transfer buddies! Interested that you get to test on 5th Nov as they told me to test on 9th Nov. Did you have a Day 5 transfer? Maybe that is the difference but doesn't explain why I have to wait an extra 4 days rather than just 2 days! I have done the two week wait before and I am trying to chill out and relax. There really is nothing else you can do other than relax and follow the advice you have been given sadly. It really is easier said than done. I am fine right now but will get to the impatient imagining early pregnancy symptoms stage which are probably just side effects of the Cyclogest I am sure. Wishing you all the best - I hope you get good news on test day xx
Ah amazing, definitely transfer buddies 😊Yes mine was a 5 day transfer, only having to wait 11 days to test which I thought was a bit early actually, I was expecting 14 days.
I had a natural transfer so I'm on no medication whatsoever - will be analysing every twinge 😂
Currently feeling something like a bit of pressure in my lower abdomen, my boobs had shooting pains last night for a little bit but not today.
Honestly think I will start testing from 6 days past. No way I can wait until the 5th.
Please keep in touch, will be nice to have someone to go nuts with lol.
Oh wow! Fantastic! I had a fresh embryo transfer of 3 embryos (after much deliberation and taking some advice and basically because I am old and have had 3 failed cycles previously) and am on progesterone pessaries (which are horrid so you've dodged a bullet there for sure!) I am hoping to test earlier than they said because it is my second wedding anniversary on the day before they want me to test and I would rather know for then and not necessarily be shielding anymore so we can at least go out somewhere unlike last year! Will definitely stay in touch. Wishing you all the best xx
Try and relax and keep yourself busy with your uni work. I’m currently doing uni work I’m due to start my FET transfer on Monday when I’m due on. I’m so scared but I’m going to try and relax. Wishing you lots of luck xxx 😘
