Hiya dose anyone no what this could be im near 34 weeks pregnant and when i wipe this is coming out

Hi, there is an NCT group and also a BabyandMe group where you might find more people able to help you - just because the vast majority of people on this group are still trying to conceive so are unlikely to have the experience you need. Hey Chelsea as Daisy said, worthwhile you joining the other groups. I’m 37wks and from what I’ve read that could be bits of your mucus plug starting to come away. For some it comes out in one go but for some it comes away bits at a time over a weeks. It could also sometimes signal the start of labour but don’t panic as it’s just one of the things that it could be. Call your local antenatal unit and see what they say. Xx

No probs! Hope they are helpful. My sis-in-law was given steroids to slow things down when her plug came entirely away but she was around 31wks (oh and the babies were completely fine) x

Could be your mucus plug. Is that what texture wise it looks like?

Hi Chelsea I started seeing this two weeks ago and my midwife advised me to pack my hospital bag, I went into preterm labour two weeks after I started wiping of the discharge. Yours looks almost the same as mine, please talk to your consultant and they will advice you on what to do. Wishing you all the best

Could be thrush but best to see your care team to get checked out. Hormones are havoc during pregnancy and thrush can take hold.

I’m no expert so do seek medical advice.
