Thank you for your good wishes. I went to the fertility clinic in London yesterday to collect a prescription and they wanted to do their own blood test to confirm that I am pregnant. They confirmed later that I am very pregnant my level is 231 and they like to it be over 25. I just thought you could be pregnant. Had to go again today for a progesterone level blood test it's good and I have to go back on Monday for another one. I had a quick look at one of my pregnancy books today I found it a bit daunting so I just read about what's happening at 4 weeks and some of the basics like eating, rest and vitamins. Tasha x

That's fantastic news about the blood test, I'm sure it must reassure you.

So much is happening right now so much your body has to do to support this new life, it never ceases to amaze me how our bodies make these changes.

Not booked our holiday yet but lots of plans for next year we don't want to put anything on hold in case we are luck enough in the new year and everything works out. I see you said it's been a 5 yr journey for you to get here, I feel lucky that we have started treatment so quickly.

Everything all feels a bit strange at the moment. So far I have felt pregnant in the mornings and not in the afternoon's. Although it has taken 5 years it's still a shock that it has happened in one way it seems to have happened very quickly. I wish now we did the egg donation instead of the IVF but we did what we thought was the right thing to do at the time. Though this 5 year journey has made me stronger emotionally and changed my way of thinking about a few things for the better. Had a nice weekend. Hubby is doing the housework and doing an excellent job at looking after me. It's great you have lots of plans for next year, we always had things planned. Tasha

Thank you very much. I had one embryo put in. I have had egg donation treatment we used my husband's sperm. One embryo has been frozen. They recommended only to have 1 put in because of my age (43 now). Tasha
